Supergirl Season 2: New Villains And Allies Around Melissa Benoist

Supergirl Season 2 continues and more characters are expected to be introduced. The second season of the series started with the appearance of Superman played by Tyler Hoechlin. The superhero came to National City to help his cousin solve some problems.

Supergirl Season 2 also introduced Mon-El (Chris Wood), M’gann (Sharon Leal) and Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath). The three new characters could be Kara’s new allies or enemies. Recent reports reveal that their intentions will be exposed in the coming episodes of the hit CBS series.

Mon-El: Ally or Enemy?

Chris Wood made his entrance to Supergirl Season 2 during the third episode. The alien with superpowers is from Daxam, a sister planet of Krypton. So, he has this connection with Kara.

However, Mon-El does not have the desire to use his powers to help others. Speculations state that the new character might soon reveal himself as an enemy to Supergirl.

He appears to be on the same side with Supergirl but there is a huge possibility that he will turn into a villain in the coming episodes. But if he is an ally, he would be a great help to the team.

Lena Luthor: Ally or Enemy?

Katie McGrath’s character appears to be a tough woman. Contrary to the image she is portraying, she might become an ally to the hero of National City. She seems to be thinking only about herself but there is more to her character than viewers need to know. She is the kind of character who can provide information that Supergirl needs.

M’gann: Ally or Enemy?

M’gann M’orzz played by Charon Leal also appeared in Supergirl Season 2. She a Martian who might become an ally of Kara based on her story, as per Screener. She is said to be the last daughter of Mars and appears to be on the run.
